Unveiled and Unchained

You may have noticed that there have been slight changes to this blogsite and that I have a different Twitter account. I would like this chance to explain.

For the past year, I have been using a pen name (Veronica Hunter) so that the ex boyfriend that I wrote about in my About Me page wouldn’t stumble upon my writing by looking for me. My real name is Ashton Firkus.

I feel so free now that I am at the point of my healing that I don’t need to hide any longer. Please forgive me for not using my real name to begin with. I’m so happy that I can reveal myself to the readers I love so much.

With this announcement, I would like to invite you to like my new Twitter page, Facebook Blog Page, and Facebook Author page. You can also follow me on my 2 Instagram accounts: my blog account and my personal account.

I also have 2 gofundme campaigns going that have yet to get any action.

  1. One is by request from a reader who wanted to donate to my blog. I set up an account that any donations will be used for funding this blog and to get me training so that I can better communicate with you. You will find that Here: gofund.me/JesusMoments
  2. The other is a personal campaign that the funds will go to the expenses for me going to Kenya to meet my Compassion child that I sponsor. Any extra funds raised will be donate to Compassion International for them to use as they wish or to help a child who hasn’t been sponsored yet. This trip isn’t for me. Will I benefit? SURE. BUT! I’m going to show her I am a real person who cares about her health, education, and well-being. You will find that campaign at gofund.me/ken-ya-help

I really appreciate your loyalty even if you do not help with either of these campaigns. I love serving you. I love spreading what God has done for me. I love using my experiences for His glory.

    • I’m so happy I’m at this point in healing. I feel like “come at me bro” haha! It’s almost like, if he has a problem with my using what he did to me for Gods glory, then he must really know he did something wrong. Thank you for your kind words, Carolina!
