And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. —Luke 17:15–16
When I was working with the kids at church this weekend, we talked about the 10 men with leprosy. Jesus told them to go to the priest to be healed, but on their way to go see him, THEY WERE HEALED! One of the men realized this and turned around to go thank Jesus for what He has done because he knew it was Him who heard him.
I get goosebumps thinking about this because in that particular time in history, leprechaun was said to be an incurable disease. If you had leprosy, you couldn’t have contact with others. And this included family. What a lonely life especially since family was everything back then. So to think that these men could go back to their families and work, it was such a miracle!
