It is difficult to express gratitude in the moment when you don’t feel like God is doing anything for you in your life at that moment. Am I right?! Putting things into perspective it’s something that people struggle with all the time.
But we need to end up focusing on is the things that God has done for us in the past and have the hope that He will continue to work in our life in the future.
Each day, give thanks to God for something you have in your life or something that He has done for you.
“He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.” Deuteronomy 10:21
We should be thankful for the love that God has for us. It is everlasting and it will never end. No matter how many times you dismiss God, He will always be compassionate and kind and loving towards you.
“I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us— yes, the many good things he has done for Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses.” Isaiah 63:7
He is our strength especially when we have none for ourselves. We can go through the hardest of times thinking that we will never get through, but we need to remember that God is the strength that we don’t have.
Thanking about all that God created and then thinking about the fact that He created you should make you realize that you are necessary. It should make you realize that when you look at the flowers aren’t at the mountains in landscape, everything was made with intention and with beauty.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalm 19:1

Such a beautiful post! And so true! I have to remember (and bring to mind) all the ways the Lord has been faithful to me. Even when He seems silent, I have to trust His character and know without a doubt He is a good God and He loves me wholly and completely no matter what. Bless you sweet sister for this encouraging post! ❤

I’m grateful for the good times I’ve been able to have with people while I’m still looking for work.
